Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • cinnamon sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Sift dry ingredients. Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Stir in dry ingredients. Chill dough. Roll into balls and roll in cinnamon sugar.

Bake at 400, 8-10 minutes on a greased cookie sheet.
