Cinnamon Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 tbsp butter, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, salt, flour, and cinnamon in a small saucepan. Add water and bring to a boil. Boil until thickened. Stir in butter, if desired.


Serve over pancakes, waffles, or french toast.
