Balsamic Glazed Beef Filet with Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 2 4 ounce Beef Filet steaks
- Salt and Table ground pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup dry red wine
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 8 ounces thick sliced mushrooms

Preparation
Step 1
1. Bring steaks to room temperature. Sprinkle salt and pepper over both sides of steaks
2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place steaks in hot pan and cook for one minute on each side. Reduce heat to medium low. Add mushrooms then balsamic vinegar and red wine. Cover and Cook for 4 minutes each side, basting with sauce when turning meat over
3. Remove form skilet, place steaks on individual plates with mushrooms, spoon glaze over each
Delicious with mashed cauliflower and string beans
