butter baked chicken

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 pounds mushrooms
  • 6 T butter
  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 2/3 c. parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

saute mushrooms in 4 T. butter till tender. rinse the chicken and pat dry. coat lightly with flour, melt 2 T butter in 9x13 pan. arrange chicken in pan. layer mushrooms over chicken. pour cream evenly over top. season with salt and pepper and then cover with the parmesan. bake at 400 for 25-30 min
