Root Beer Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 1/2 ts Dry mustard
  • 1/2 c Root beer (do not use diet)
  • 1/4 c Barbecue sauce
  • 1 sm Onion, diced
  • 36 oz Baked beans
  • 3 dr Hot pepper sauce
  • Black Pepper; freshly ground
  • 2 Strips bacon, diced

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook bacon with onion in a medium saucepan until bacon is brown and crisp. 2. Add remaining ingredients. Heat to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, until slightly thickened, 20 minutes.
