Crock Pot Chicken Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 chopped onions
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2-3 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced
  • 10 oz. package frozen corn
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp ground sage
  • 3 Tbs parsley flakes
  • 2 1/2 lbs chicken thighs
  • 4 Cups chicken broth
  • 2 Cups wide egg noodles (cooked separately)

Preparation

Step 1

Place all ingredients in crock pot in order listed. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours (high 4 to 6 hours). One hour before serving, remove chicken and cool slightly. Remove meat from bones and return meat to crock pot.

Cook noodles according to package directions. Place in crock pot when returning meat to crock pot.
