Ingredients
- 3 lbs green beans
- 10 walnut halves, toasted and chopped
- 4 T walnut oil
- 1/2 C vegetable oil
- 1/4 C red wine vinegar
- 1 garlic clove
- coarse kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Blanch the beans in boiling water until just tender, about 3 to 4 minutes. Drain and chill immediately.
Mix the remaining ingredients and let stand 1 hour.
Immediately before serving, toss the beans in the dressing and remove the garlic clove.
