Nut Goodie Bars
- 1 11.5oz pkg milk chocolate chips, divided use
- 1 11oz pkg butterscotch flavored chips, divided use
- 2 c crunchy peanut butter, divided use
- 2 lb powdered sugar
- 1 c butter
- 1/2 c evaporated milk
- 1/4 c instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 t maple flavoring
- 2 c spanish peanuts
Line a jelly roll pan with wax paper.
Combine half the chocolate chips, half the butterscotch chips, andd 1 cup peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH for one minute; stir. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring after each one, until mixture is smooth. Pour into prepared pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes (mixture should be firm, but not too firm).
Combine powdered sugar, butter, evaporated milk, vanilla pudding mix, and maple flavoring in a medium mixing bowl. Beat until smooth. Spread over chocolate layer. Melt remaining chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter in microwave. Stir in peanuts and pour over the top.
Refrigerate until firm. Cut into small squares.
