Ingredients

  • 10 oz macaroni
  • 7 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 cup diced ham
  • 2 tbsp. grated onion
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 10 oz frozen spinach- thawed and squeezed dried
  • 4 tbsp. flour
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 8 oz shredded chedder cheese
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven 350*
Spray baking dish
Cook pasta 7-8 minutes and drain
Melt 1 tbsp. butter and sauté ham
Add onion and sauté 1 minute
Add spinach and sauté 1 minute- remove from heat
In pot melt 4 tbsp. butter-
add flour and whisk until golden (2 minutes)
Whisk in milk
Add Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, nutmeg and cook stirring till thicken 7-8 minutes- remove from heat
mix in cheeses
fold in pasta
put 1/2 into baking dish top with ham then add rest of macaroni
Mix 2 tbsp. butter with panko and sprinkle on top
Bake 20-30 minutes
