Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 Tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 cup Velveeta cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly. Add salt, pepper, and cheese, stirring until cheese melts. Serve with cauliflower or as a dip. Yields about 1 cup.
