Sopapilla Cheesecake

This can easily be cut in half & baked in an 8 x 8 dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs. refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1-1/2 sticks butter
  • Cinnamon to sprinkle

Preparation

Step 1

Use a 9 x 13 pan. Spray with Pam. Roll out 1 can of crescent rolls and pinch sides on bottom of pan. In saucepan over medium heat, melt both of the cream cheeses, 1 c of the sugar, and vanilla. (Be careful that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.) Pour over crescents in pan. Roll 2nd can of crescent rolls over cream cheese mixture. In saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sugar. Bring to a bubble and pour over crescents in pan. Sprinkle cinnamon on top. Bake at 350 for 25 - 30 minutes.
