Pretzel Salad

This has been a family favorite for years. It's kind of time consuming, but worth it!

Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 2 2/3 c crushed pretzels
  • ¾ c melted butter
  • 3 T sugar
  • Bake 10 minutes at 350
  • Mix together:
  • 2 - 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz cool whip
  • 1 c sugar
  • Spread over crust.
  • 2 3oz strawberry jello
  • 2 16 oz frozen strawberries
  • Boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

Defrost strawberries and strain juice, reserving juice. Make 2 cups of liquid from strawberry juice and boiling water. Mix with dry strawberry jello powder. Add strawberries. Chill until partially set. Pour over cream cheese mixture.
