Easy chocolate fudge with pretzels

Ingredients

  • nonstick spray
  • 2 tbsp butter, cut into pieces
  • 3 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2.5 c roughly chopped mini pretzels

Preparation

Step 1

Coat an 8 inch square baking pan with spray and line with parchment. Place butter, chocolate chips, condensed milk, vanilla, and salt in a medium heatproof bowl set over simmering water. Stir occasionally until chocolate just melts and mixture is warm but not hot, 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 2 cups pretzels. Transfer to pan and smooth top, press rest of pretzels on top. Refrigerate until set, 2 hours or overnight. Lift from pan and cut into 36 squares.
