Black Bean Sauce Spareribs

Ingredients

  • 5 to 6 pounds pork side ribs
  • 1 cup black bean sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp. ketchup
  • 3 tbsp. liquid honey
  • 2 tbsp. ginger glaze cooking sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Preparation

Step 1

Place ribs in a large pot of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer gently for 45 minutes. Drain and place in large shallow baking dish.

Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl to blend. Pour over ribs and turn to coat.

Cover and marinate for up to 4 hours.

Preheat oven to 375. Bake ribs for 20 to 30 minutes, turning and basting with remaining marinade until ribs are crisp and glazed.
