A scrap of paper inscribed with the names of your guests serves as a placeholder. A line of beach-themed poetry or a song lyric― or a map to a post-prandial hunt for buried treasure. Or fill each bottle with gourmet sea salt and tie a label at the neck noting both the sea salt and the recipient’s name, for guests to take home.
