Ingredients

  • 1 tbs black pepper
  • 1 tbs powdered mustard
  • 1 tbs cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 1/2 tbs red pepper
  • 1 tbs salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 medium onion, crushed
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 qt vinegar
  • 1 qt catsup
  • 3 tbs liquid smoke

Preparation

Step 1

Cook first 9 ingredients for 5 minutes in just enough water to cover. Pour into a gallon jug. Add vinegar, catsup, and smoke. Finish filling jug with boiling water to taste and thickness desired.
