Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Devil's food cake
  • 1 (12 oz.) evaporated milk
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 25 lg. marshmallows
  • 14 oz. flaked coconut
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 c. chocolate chips
  • 3 oz. almond slivers

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix cake and bake as directed, 9X13

2. In sauce pan, combine 1/2 can milk and 1 1/2 c. sugar, bring to rapid boil, quickly remove from heat, add marshmallows, stir until melted, add coconut, pour over cake.

3. In saucepan combine, rest of sugar and milk, bring to boil. Remove from heat add butter and chocolate chips, stir until melted, mix in almonds, pour over top of coconut topped cake. Chill at least 2 hours, best overnite.
