Southern Sweet Ham Glaze

Ingredients

• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 cup molasses
• 3/4 cup spicy brown mustard
• 1/4 cup bourbon (optional)
• 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
• 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Preparation

Place the brown sugar, molasses, mustard, bourbon, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper in a mixing bowl and stir until the sugar has dissolved.
