Ingredients
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 8-oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest
- 4 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs

Step 1
Combine butter, brown sugar, flour and nuts; set aside 2 cups of mixture. Press remaining mixture in the bottom of a greased 13 inch x 9 inch baking pan; bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Set aside. Blend together cream cheese, sugar, milk, lemon zest, juice, vanilla and eggs; pour into baked crust. Sprinkle with reserved nut mixture; bake for an additional 25 minutes. Let cool; cut into bars. Makes 2 to 3 dozen.
