Butternut Squash Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked & mashed butternut squash
- 1 ` pkg yeast
- 2 tbsp. water (110*)
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup milk (110*)
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 4-4 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tbsp. water

Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand 10 minutes
In large bowl combine 1 egg, brown sugar, salt, 2 cups flour, squash, yeast, milk and butter
Stir until well combined
Stir in remaining flour 1/2 cup at a time
Turn on to flour surface and knead 8 minutes
Put into sprayed bowl, turn to coat, cover and let rise until double in size
Divide into 6 pieces and roll out to 18" ropes
Pinch ends of 3 together and braid then pinch other end together.
Place on sprayed cooking sheet cover and let rise 30 minutes
mix egg and water to make egg wash and brush bread
Bake at 350* 20-25 minutes rotating pan half way through cooking time
