Ingredients
- 2 C solid vegetable shortening
- 2 lbs 10x sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 1-2 t clear vanilla extract
- 6-8 oz. whipping cream
Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening until fluffy, add sugar & continue creaming until well blended.
Add salt, vanilla & whipping cream; blend on low speed until moistened
Beat at high speed until icing is fluffy.
Icing needs to be refrigerated, both after it is made & when it is on a cake.
Keeps 3-5 days in fridge
