Chop Suey (Carmelle's)

Ingredients

  • THICKEN WITH:
  • 1 Lb. lean meat -Pork, Beef or Chicken
  • 1 onion-diced
  • 2 cups diced celery
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms - drained
  • 1/2 cup green peppers-cut into strips
  • 1 can been sprouts
  • 2 cups water
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 Tbs corn starch
  • 1 Tsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tsp sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Steam meat, add onion fry, then add celery, peppers, mushrooms & water.
Simmer until celery is soft.
Add been sprouts, then thicken, until the desired consistency.
