Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds fresh or frozen large shrimp
- 8 ounces dried angel hair pasta
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel
- lemon wedges (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Peel and devein shrimp, leaving the tails intact if desired. Rinse shrimp; pat dry with paper towels; set shrimp aside.
In a large pot cook pasta according to package directions; drain. Return pasta to pot.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet heat butter, olive oil, and garlic over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, salt, and crushed red pepper to skillet. Cook and stir about 3 minutes or until shrimp are opaque. Stir in parsley and lemon peel. Add shrimp mixture to pasta in pot; toss to combine. If desired, serve shrimp mixture with lemon wedges.
