Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 package (4 serving size) black cherry jello
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup cool whip, thawed

Preparation

Step 1

Stir boiling water into dry jello mix in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Pour into a 9 inch square pan. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.

Cut jello into1/2 inch cubes. Reserve 1/2 of cool whip; set aside.

Layer jello cubes alternately with remaining 1/2 cup of cool whip in 4 dessert glasses. Top with dollops of the reserved 1/2 cup cool whip.
