Ingredients
- 12 oz box bowtie pasta
- 2 cans sliced carrots
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 cans peas

Step 1
Cook pasta.
In pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add flour and cook, whisking constantly for 3 minutes.
Add milk and cook, whisking frequently, until mixture thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
Whisk in cheese until melted. Whisk in pepper. Add peas and carrots. Cook stirring about 1 minute.
Drain pasta. Place in serving bowl. Pour cheese mix over pasta.
Toss to coat.
