Pecan Blondies

Ingredients

• Hands on: 10 minutes Total time: 30 minutes
• Makes: 16 (2-by-2-inch) squares
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1 cup dark brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup pecans, toasted and chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.
Grease 8-by-10-inch pan with pan spray.
In a mixing bowl, stir together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg, vanilla extract and salt and stir to combine. Add flour and pecans and stir to combine. Pour batter into greased baking pan and bake for 20 minutes. Allow to cool and cut into squares.
