Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbs baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 tbs unsalted butter (melted & cooled)
- 1 large egg
- 7 oz milk
- 1 cup fresh blueberries (or any fruit)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a muffin pan with 10 muffin cups. Fill empty cups with water.
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into a large bowl. Stir in the sugar. In a separate bowl, whisk the butter, egg, and milk together. Pour milk mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until just blended (should be slightly lumpy). Stir in blueberries.
Divide batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups. Bake 18-24 minutes. Remove muffins from pan and transfer to a wire rack to cool.
