Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp almond flavouring
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp soda
- Sprinkles
Preparation
Step 1
Cream sugar and butter; add eggs and flavourings; mix. Mix together dry ingredients and stir in. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Divide dough in half and roll out on lightly floured pastry sheet. Roll thin but thick enough to pick up the design in the cookie cutters. Cut as many cookies from each rolling as possible. The least amount of working with the dough gives the best cookies. Place on lightly greased baking sheet and put on sprinkles. Bake at 375F for 7-8 minutes.
