Marshmallow Icing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Corn Syrup
  • 2 Tbsps Water
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar, syrup and water in saucepan. Cover, heat to rolling boil over medium heat Uncover, boil rapidly until 242 degrees or forms firm ball in cold water. As mixture boils, beat egg whites until stiff peaks. Pour in hot syrup slowly beating on medium speed. Add vanilla, beat on high speed until stiff peaks.
