Cabbage Roll Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 med. onion
  • 1 clove garlic-minced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 14 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 14 oz can of water
  • 1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice
  • 4 cups shredded and packed cabbage
  • sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef, onions, garlic, salt and pepper. Add tomato sauce and water. Bring to a boil and stir in rice. Cover and simmer for 20 min. Place 1/2 of cabbage in greased baking dish. Cover with 1/2 rice mixture. Repeat layers. Cover and bake in 350 oven for 1 hour. Serve with sour cream. May be refridgerated before baking
