SEARED AHI TUNA

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ahi Tuna Steak
  • 2 T balsamic vinegar
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 T ginger, grated
  • 1 green onion, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Mix balsamic vinegar, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, green onion, and lemon juice in a large bowl. Marinade the tuna steaks, cover them tightly in the bowl and refrigerate for at least an hour. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high to high heat. When the pan is hot, place the steaks in the skillet and sear them for 1 minute to 1 1/2 minutes each side. Remove from pan and slice them as you wish.
