Sauerkraut with Tomatoes*

Ingredients

  • 5-6 slices bacon
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cups (1 can) tomatoes
  • 2 cups well drained kraut
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Fry bacon until crisp. Drain and set aside. In the grease
cook one onion until clear. Drain any left over grease. Add tomatoes, drained kraut and sugar. Crumble bacon and add to mixture. Bake 45 minutes at 350 deg.
