Afghan Meat Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 16 ounce tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cups water

Preparation

Step 1

Grind yellow onion and 1/2 cup water in a blender. Pout this mixture into a frying pan with ground beef, and cook until the meat is browned. Add one more cup water, crushed garlic, salt, coriander, black pepper and tomato sauce to the meat and cook over medium-low heat for 20-25 minutes.
