Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine (softened)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
Preparation
Step 1
Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. In a mixing bowl, add peanut butter and sugars; beat for about 30 seconds until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture; beat till well combined.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls; roll in granulated sugar, if desired. Placed two inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet; criss cross with the tines of a fork. Bake in 375 degree oven for about 10 minutes. Cook about 1 minute before removing to a wire rack.
