    bacon slices, sliced into 1-inch pieces

    onion, diced

  • 1

    green pepper, diced

  • 2

    large cans B & M Original Baked Beans

  • ¾

    cup barbecue sauce

  • ½

    cup light brown sugar

  • ¼

    cup apple cider vinegar

  • teaspoons yellow prepared mustard


1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. 2. Partially cook the bacon in an oven safe skillet or saute pan until 1/8-1/4 cup of bacon drippings remain. 3.Set the drippings aside. 4. Remove the bacon from pan and drain any remaining bacon grease. 5. Add the peppers and onions to the skillet and gently saute, approximately 5 minutes. 6. Add the bacon drippings and the beans, stir to combine. 7. Add the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard, stir to combine. 8. Top with bacon. 9. Cook slowly for 2 hours until warm and bubbly.
