Ingredients
- 10-12 Lasagne Noodles
- 4 qts Boiling water
- 1 Tbsp Cooking oil
- 1 Tbsp Salt
- Meat Sauce
- 1 lb Lean ground beef
- 2 tsp Cooking oil
- 3 x7.5oz Tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup Finely chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp Finely chopped onion
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- 1 Tsp Garlic salt
- 1/2 Tsp Oregano
- 1/8 Tsp Pepper
- Cheese Mixture
- 2 Cups Cottage cheese
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tbsp Parsley flakes
- 1/8 Tsp Pepper
- 2 Cups Grated mozerella cheese

Step 1
In large uncovered saucepan cook noodles in boiling water, cooking oil and salt until tender but firm, about 14-16 minutes. Drain.
Meat Sauce: Scramble-fry ground beef in cooking oil in large saucepan until browned.
Add next seven ingredients to meat. Simmer slowly, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
Cheese Mixture: In small bowl combine cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, parsley flakes and pepper. Mix well.
To assemble, layer in greased 9x13 inch pan as follows:
1)Layer of noodles
2)One-half meat sauce
3)Cheese Mixture
4)Layer of noodles
5)One-half meat sauce
6)Mozzarella cheese
Bake uncovered in 350°f over about 45 to 55 minutes until nicely browned. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Cuts into 12 pieces. Serves 8.
