Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup each chopped celery, and carrots
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 2 cans (19 oz) red Kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 TBsp chili powder
- 1 TBsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
Cook beef, add onions, garlic, celery, carrots and green pepper. cook 3 to 5 minutes
Add tomatoes, kidney beans, chili powder, lemon juice, cumin and hot pepper flakes. Cover and simmer for 10 min. Add water if too thick
