Preparation

Step 1

Pat ham dry with paper towels. Melt 1 T. butter in Dutch oven over med. high heat. Cook ham until browned, about 3 min. per side. Transfer to plate and tent with foil.

Add onion and remaining butter to empty pot and cook over med. heat until softened, about 5 min. Stir in garlic and cook about 30 sec. Stir in greens and broth, scraping up any browned bits, and cook, covered, until just tender and wilted, about 10 min. Transfer to platter and tent with foil.

Add sugar, mustard and bourbon to empty pot and cook over med. heat until sugar dissolves and glaze is thickened, about 3 min. Add ham and cook, turning occasionally, until glazed, about 2 min. Slice ham into portions. Serve with greens and remaining sauce.
