Yogurt Cake

This has become one of my favorite cakes to bring to summer picnics. It's very easy to make, has a very light and refreshing taste, and seems to be somewhat healthy... perfect for maintaining your bikini bod! I got the recipe from a woman at a jewelry party. I personal love to use Yoplait Pomegranat Berry Yogurt.

Ingredients

  • Cake:

  • 1

    box white cake mix

  • 1 1/4

    c. water

  • 1/3

    cup canola oil

  • 4

    egg whites

  • 1

    container yogurt (6 oz) any flavor

  • Frosting:

  • 1

    container cool whip

  • 1

    container yogurt (6 oz) same flavor as above

Directions

1. Cake: Mix cake mix, water, oil, and egg whites on low speed for 2 minutes. Fold the yogurt into the cake batter. Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2-in baking dish. Bake at 350 for 30 - 35 minutes, or until toothpick entered in center comes out clean. 2. Frosting: Fold yogurt into cool whip. Refrigerate while cake cools. Spread over cool cake.
