Ingredients

  • 1 (7 oz.) package elbow macaroni (2 C.) uncooked
  • 1 pound package frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 10 3/4 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 C. milk
  • 1 1/2 C. grated American cheese
  • 1 t. seasoned salt
  • 1/4 t. pepper
  • 1/4 C. buttered bread crumbs or crushed potato chips

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare elbow macaroni according to package directions. Drain. Rinse frozen vegetables under cold water until almost thawed. Brown ground beef and onion. Drain excess fat. Add soup, milk, cheese, seasoned salt and pepper; simmer on low heat 5 mins. Combine macaroni, vegetables and ground beef mixture in a 3 quart baking dish. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
