Rugalah (Mom)

Ingredients

  • 1 8oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 3/4 firm brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinammon
  • 3/4 cup chop nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, cream cheese, flour into a ball. Put in fridge or freezer. Dough must be cold. Divide dough into quarters. Roll 9" circles, about 1/8" thick. Brush each circle with melted butter. Take 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tbsp cin, 3/4 cups nuts and mix together. Sprinkle circles with mixture. Roll up, cut, and brush top with egg mixture or brown sugar and milk. Bake 12- 18 minutes.
