Carmel Sauce

good on carrot pudding or Apple cake

Ingredients

• 1 c brown sugar
• 1 c water
• 1/2 c whipping cream
• 1 t rum or maple flavour
• 1 T cornstarch
• 1/4 c cold water

Preparation

Step 1

Boil sugar and water, then add cream and flavour. Thicken with cornstarch and cold water.
