    lb flank steak

  • 3 or 4

    scallions or shallots, chopped

  • 1 1/2

    Tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 1/2

    Tbsp olive oil

  • 1 1/2

    Tbsp lemon juice

  • Thyme

  • Pepper

Marinate at least 1/2 hour Broil very hot - 6 minutes one side, 5 on the other - or until done
