Fudgy Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

These are so easy to make it’s almost embarrassing. And *bonus* they are out of this world delicious! How could they not be? They are chock full of peanut butter cups. I know chocolate and peanut butter is not a new idea, but I thought I’d better post this in case you haven’t tried this variation. Your welcome.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped peanut butter cups

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*
In a large glass bowl melt the butter and mix in cocoa powder until smooth. Stir in sugar, vanilla and salt. Mix in the flour until the batter is smooth then stir in half of the chocolate chips and 1 cup of the peanut butter cups. Spread into a well greased 9×13″ pan. Sprinkle remaining chips and peanut butter cups on top. Bake 20-25 minutes being careful not to over bake. Store in a tightly covered container.
