Cheese and Caramel Dried Fruit Appetizer

Ingredients
- Large wedge of Brie or Blue Cheese
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 2 tablespoons dates, chopped
- 2 tablespoons figs, chopped
- 2 tablespoons dried cherries
- 2 tablespoons dried blueberries
- 2 tablespoons dried pineapple, chopped
- 1/3 cup caramel apple dip from the produce section of your grocery store, divided
- Nuts, chopped (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Allow the cheese to rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
Mix together all dried fruits and the optional nuts, if desired.
Spread a thin layer of the caramel onto the cheese to provide a sticky base for the fruit topping.
Assemble the fruit into a little mountain on the top of the caramel covered cheese.
Pour caramel over all, according to taste.
