No Bean Chili

Ingredients can be combined the night before and dumped into the slow cooker in the morning.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef (90% lean)
- 1 can (14.5 oz) stewed tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies
- 1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 1/4 tea. salt
- 1/2 tea. paprika
- 1/4 tea. pepper
- Hot cooked rice or pasta
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream and sliced green onions
Preparation
Step 1
Crumble beef into a 3 qt. slow cooker. Add the next 11 ingredients and mix well. Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours or until heated through.
Serve with rice of pasta and the toppings of your choice.
