Caramelized Balsamic Vinaigrette Asparagus

Ingredients

  • Asparagus (Trimmed)
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic Vinaigrette
  • Coarse Sea Salt

Step 1

Pre-heat Oven to 375f.

Add olive oil to bottom of a cooking sheet that has at least 0.5” lip. Should be thick enough that when you tilt the cooking sheet sideways, you can see it flow.

Spread Asparagus evenly in pan. Rotate every other one opposite, so they fit better.

Add Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing to taste. Usually about ¼ of cup for a standard 8x12 cooking sheet.

Add coarse sea salt to taste. Use sparingly.

Place in oven uncovered and cook until asparagus is starting to brown and become crisp about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Note: The bottom of the stalks are thicker and sometimes don’t cook as thorough as the tops. One way to overcome this would be to boil some water and stick the bottoms in first until stalks become soft… Just bound the tops together and set it down.
