Thompson's Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. white beans
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 4 tsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • pinch pepper
  • 3 slices green bacon

Preparation

Step 1

Soak beans overnight, then drain and cover with water, boil for 30 minutes. Drain, add to slow cooker with these ingredients and cover with water. Cook on high about 7 hours.
