BEEF BAVARIAN

Ingredients

• 11/2 Ibs beef round steak, thinly sliced
• 2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp garlic powder
• 1 large onion, sliced
• 1/4 tsp tabasco pepper sauce
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 1 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 cup beef broth
• 4 large carrots
• 1/4 tsp pepper
• 2 tbsp cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

Cut meat into 1 inch wide strips. Blend cornstarch, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Coat meat with seasoned cornstarch Brown in oil. Add onion. Cook 2 to 3 minutes longer. Add broth, tobasco sauce and brown sugar. Add carrots and cook 15 minutes longer or until meat is tender. Serve with rice.
