Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Flour
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons baking powder
  • 5 Eggs
  • 2 Sticks butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • For the icing
  • 2 cup powder sugar
  • 1/4 Cup softened butter
  • 2 tablespoons anise extract
  • Milk

Step 1

Cookies

Sift together flour, sugar, and baking powder. In the same bowl make a hole in the center of the flour mixture and add the eggs, butter, and vanilla. Mix will with a fork or by hand. Let it rest for 1 hour then role into balls in grease tins.

Icing

Mix ingredients together in a bowl and add some milk. Mix the milk mixture well. Add more sugar and milk if needed.
